Please have the registration paperwork filled out accurately and bring all of the requested information with you in order to successfully complete the registration process. Students must be enrolled by the parents only.

Proof of Address-   You must provide proof that you actually reside in our school district. No one is allowed to register without the appropriate documentation.

Lewis Chapel Middle School will observe summer hours over the break.

  • Monday – Thursday
  • 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Because the July 4th holiday is being observed on a Tuesday, the school will follow a regular work schedule of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for the week of July 3 – 7, 2017.

Text School's Out Power Up for Summer Fun on Teal Background With Circular image of 3 Children Playing BasketballIt’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out.  CCS Child Nutrition Services provides free meals to children during the summer!

This summer, meals will be served at various locations around the county, Monday through Friday, starting June 12th through July 28th.  There are no income requirements or registration.  Anyone age 18 or under may come to eat.

Smiling Female Student with Report CardsAll library books are currently overdue.  Please return all books and pay any library fees as soon as possible.  Students can access their library accounts by visiting the destiny homepage,  http://destiny.ccs.k12.nc.us, and logging in using their school ID and password.

Monday

  • 8th Grade Field Day – Field day is an incentive for all 8th-grade students who were present for every day of testing.

Tuesday

  • 7th Grade Field Day – Field day is an incentive for all 7th-grade students who were present for every day of testing.
  • Math I Student Review Session – All Math I students will have an entire day to review with Mrs. Tuff in preparation for the EOC.

Wednesday

  • Math I EOC test
  • 6th & 7th-grade awards assembly – 8:00 a.m.
  • 6th Grade Field Day – Field day is an incentive for all 6th-grade students who were present for every day of testing.

Thursday

  • 8th-Grade promotion ceremony – 8:00 a.m. Students are encouraged to dress nicely for the ceremony.
  • Chill Day – Chill day is an incentive for all students who demonstrate growth on the EOG assessments.

Friday

  • 12:30 pm – Early Dismissal for all students
  • Block Party – Block party is an incentive for all students who demonstrate proficiency by scoring a 3, 4, or 5 on the EOG assessments.
  • Last Day for Students
  • End of reporting period

Report cards will be mailed on Wednesday, June 14th.
