Trying different things can appear challenging such as being a new student at a school or taking a class for the first time. You have to be patient when introducing new things. Back to SchoolOpen House will take place on August 24.

6th grade – 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

7th & 8th grade – 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm

School locks will be available for $7.00.  Reminder, only locks purchased from LCMS are allowed on lockers.

Student schedules will be available.  Students who were registered prior to the close of the school year may view schedules online via the student or parent portal.

We look forward to meeting our 2017-2018 Cardinals!

Sports PhysicalsCOME OUT FOR YOUR SPORTS PHYSICALS!

Lewis Chapel Middle School will offer sports physicals for Cumberland County students on August 18th from 2 pm until 4 pm.  The cost is $20 and must be payable in cash.  Students should complete the physical form with parent/guardian signature prior to arrival. (Examination forms are available online at www.athletics.ccs.k12.nc.us or from your school’s athletic office.)

Lewis Chapel Middle School will observe summer hours over the break.

  • Monday – Thursday
  • 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Because the July 4th holiday is being observed on a Tuesday, the school will follow a regular work schedule of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for the week of July 3 – 7, 2017.

Text School's Out Power Up for Summer Fun on Teal Background With Circular image of 3 Children Playing BasketballIt’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out.  CCS Child Nutrition Services provides free meals to children during the summer!

This summer, meals will be served at various locations around the county, Monday through Friday, starting June 12th through July 28th.  There are no income requirements or registration.  Anyone age 18 or under may come to eat.
